Vtg 1950s Sunbeam T-20B Radiant Control Toaster Chrome Art Deco Fully WORKING!

This is an iconic piece of mid-century Americana-the legendary Sunbeam Model T- 20B Radiant Control Toaster. Manufactured in the USA during the 1950s, this appliance is famously known for its Automatic Beyond Belief mechanics. There are no manual levers to push down; you simply place the bread into the slots, and the built-in radiant heat sensors automatically lower the bread and quietly raise it when finished to your preferred browning setting. ***Functionality: Fully tested and functions perfectly*** The automatic drop-and-rise mechanism operates exactly as intended, and the heating elements glow evenly. Exterior: The stunning mirror-chrome finish is in great shape with a beautiful shine. It displays minor, age-appropriate oxidation/patina as expected with vintage items, but has no major pitting or deep dents. The original cloth cord and black Bakelite accents remain completely intact. Interior: Works extremely well. The interior has minor crumbs/dust typical of vintage kitchenware and could use a light detailed cleaning to make it pristine. Perfect as a retro functional statement piece for your atomic or MCM kitchen, or as a highly prized addition to a vintage collection.
