It catches the light the way a machine-made ring simply cannot.  Then look at the sides. Traditional hand stamped fan motifs, one of the most traditional marks of Navajo silversmithing. Not cast. Stamped, one impression at a time.  This is the kind of work that takes patience. The kind of ring where the more you look, the more you find — and everything you find was put there on purpose.  This piece was made by Navajo silversmith Will Denetdale. Made by one artist, one pair of hands, the way it's been done for generations.  Substantial size and weight.
