Elegant vintage covered casserole dish by Gilman & Co. Portugal, featuring delicate songbird and blossom motifs on both sides of the bowl and repeated bird designs on the lid.  The soft ivory porcelain body is accented by colorful birds perched among pink blossoms, creating a charming cottage and garden-inspired aesthetic.  The underside bears the Gilman & Co. A small chip is present on the underside rim of the lid and is not readily visible when the lid is in place. Light wear consistent with age and use. Decoration remains bright and attractive.
