Vintage Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose 11.5" Serving/Decor Platter Platinum Trim

This is a beautiful Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose 11.5 Serving Platter. Manufactured sometime in the last few months of 1955 in Newell, North Carolina (we know this because of the clear backstamp: D 55 N 8). This pattern features an ivory base with a cluster of pink, white and yellow flowers and green leaves cascading towards the center of the plate. Very elegant and simple design which is both useful and decorative. Plate measures 11.5 L x 8.5 W. It is in great vintage condition. No cracks, crazing or repairs noted. Very minimal surface/utensil marks. Platinum trim is in great shape. There is a very tiny chip on the rim. See picture. This does not compromise use or display in any way. Use this small platter as a lovely decor piece or to add to you Virginia Rose China set. Props shown in styled photos are not included. Many are for sale separately. All items in my shop are vintage and may show light signs of age or use. I try to note and photograph any flaws. Please review all photos carefully and zoom in for details.
