Description

Tamao Nakagawa 1930-1992 Japan (Tokyo)
The fifth son of Kigen Nakagawa.
Studied Western painting at Tokyo College of Culture.
The canvas is composed of wrapping paper, fabric, free-flowing lines, and vibrant colors.

This is a work by Tamao Nakagawa, which I purchased at auction for approximately 60,000 yen.
The frame was custom-made separately by a craftsman using solid oak wood, costing around 20,000 yen.
It was ordered to fit flush against the wall.
For earthquake safety, it was made with acrylic instead of glass.

As this is an original, one-of-a-kind piece, you can directly feel the artist's brushstrokes and emotions.
I am listing it due to redecorating my room.
Canvas size: Width 54cm x Height 45cm
