Vintage Hand Carved Painted Wood Mallard Duck | Rustic Folk Art Decoy Decor

A wonderfully charming little vintage hand-carved wooden mallard with a rustic hand-painted finish. The deep green head, burgundy breast and softly aged neutral body give him the look of an old decorative decoy without being overly rustic. The carving is simple and substantial, with inset eyes and visible hand-worked texture beneath the paint. The finish was intentionally created with an aged, worn appearance and has developed additional wear over time, particularly around the head and painted areas. Measures: approx. 8” long × 5” tall × 3.5” wide. Good vintage condition with age-related surface wear and paint loss consistent with the rustic character of the piece. No maker’s mark found.
