Vintage ® MMA Metropolitan Museum of Art Clear Sculptural Ringed Art Glass Vase

Beautiful vintage clear art glass vase marked ® MMA on the base for The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Features a striking sculptural silhouette with thick graduated horizontal rings, a wide flared opening, and substantial clear glass construction.  The stacked-ring design gives the piece a wonderful architectural, modernist look and makes it beautiful displayed on its own or filled with flowers.  Approximate measurements: • 5–5¼” tall • 6–6¼” across the opening • 4¼” across the base  Vintage MMA glass was produced for and sold through The Metropolitan Museum of Art, with various historic American glassmakers producing pieces for the museum over the years. The exact manufacturer of this particular design has not been confirmed.  Pre-owned excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
