A gold-encrusted bud vase from the Wheeling Decorating Company of Wheeling, West Virginia; a well-known 20th-century china and glass decorating firm (active 1900–1962) whose “gold-etched 'Rose and Daisy' pattern with dove motifs is a favorite among WDCo collectors.” The white porcelain blank is entirely covered in rich 22-karat gold, with an all-over etched floral and dove pattern that creates a soft, dimensional shimmer against the light. Classic genie-bottle silhouette: a wide bulbous base tapering to a slender neck and flared rim. Interior in white porcelain. Stands 5 inches tall. Some minimal wear consistent with age; no chips, cracks, or repairs. Marked on the base.
