Antique Harrach Bohemian Uranium Custard Glass Hand-Painted Floral Bud Vase
Harrachov Glassworks (Harrach)
Stunning, authentic late-Victorian/Art Nouveau uranium glass bud vase. Produced by the historic Harrach glassworks (Bohemia/Czech) between 1890 and 1910. This is a true museum-quality antique, not a modern 20th-century reproduction piece. Features a buttery cream satin custard/opaline glass finish, delicate hand-painted multi-toned enamel floral branch motifs, and a gold rim. This vase is rich in uranium oxide and fluoresces a brilliant, fiery electric green under 395nm UV/blacklight. A must-have centerpiece for any serious glass display. Harrach characteristics: *Polished Pontil: Ground, smooth, recessed circle on bottom (proves mouth-blown artisan glass, not molded). *Sheared Rim: Traditional fired, hand-finished opening typical of late-1800s Bohemian glassmakers. *Bohemian Enameling: Highly detailed, fine-line floral artwork matching turnaround-of-the-century Czech trade styles. Pristine antique condition with zero chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs noted. Authentic, age-appropriate thinning to the gold trim on the rim. Minor manufacturing straw/shear mark near base (standard for 19th-century mouth-blown glass). Please review all photos as they are part of the description. ***Reasonable offers welcome! #UraniumGlass #VaselineGlass #GlowGlass #VictorianAntique #ArtNouveau #BohemianGlass #Harrach #CustardGlass #EnameledArtGlass
