New Vintage 1960 Pair Pendleton Highland Motor Virgin Wool Blankets 52 x 70 #990

This is a rare and unique, pair of authentic, unused New Vintage (circa 1960) Pendleton Highland Motor Robe Blankets that measure 52 x 70. 100% Virgin Wool. The original tag is still on one of the storage / carrying bags and it says that the colorway is #990, which is obviously discontinued. The color is a warm, woodsy tan, rust and charcoal gray plaid. The fringe on the edges is 4.5 and the current version has 3.5 fringe. The newer Highland blankets are also shorter (52 x 66). These are a perfectly unique gift for the Pendleton lovers in your life or for yourself. The zippered vinyl storage bags have light specks on them from age, but the clear plastic is not yellowed and the blankets still look very fresh. The blankets appear to be the same on both sides and have never been removed from their cases or opened up.
