Vintage Green Onyx Trinket Box Brass Footed Red Velvet Lined Jewelry Casket

Vintage green banded onyx trinket/jewelry box, circa 1920s–1950s. Beveled hinged lid with brass gallery trim in a beaded edge pattern. Interior fully lined in deep red crushed velvet (lid and base). Raised on four cast brass paw feet.  Classic Art Deco–era vanity/dresser box style, commonly made in Italy or Mexico during this period. No maker’s mark visible.  Size Approx 7”x 5”x 2”  Condition:  Vintage, pre-owned condition with wear consistent with age. Notable chip/loss to the onyx at the rear edge of the lid — see photos for close-up detail, this is a genuine flaw and not just a photo artifact. Brass trim shows tarnish/oxidation throughout, consistent with age. Velvet lining shows light flattening but no stains or tears. Hinge functions properly, feet are intact and stable.
