Vintage Korean Haegwang Celadon Sanggam Vase Pair w/ Certificate

**Skinny vase has recently been broken at the top. (See notes). Set was originally $300 and is now 50% off. A striking coordinated pair of vintage Korean celadon vases from Hai Kwang Ceramics, also rendered Haegwang. Both pieces bear the 海光 maker’s mark and red kiln seal on the underside and include the original “Information on HAI KWANG CERAMICS” maker literature. Created in the tradition of historic Goryeo celadon, these vases feature a rich forest-green glaze with fine crackling and contrasting pale seafoam decoration. The detailed landscape includes graceful cranes, flowering plum branches, a traditional pavilion, water, mountains, and an old waterwheel. Subtle pink and white blossoms bring beautiful dimension and color to the darker glaze. The pair includes two complementary but distinctly different forms: • One taller vase with broad shoulders, a short celadon collar, and a gently tapered waist. (this one was accidentally broken at the tip neck entrance). So a discount will be given. • One slightly shorter and smaller bottle vase with a long flared neck and rounded pear-shaped body. Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. Fine crackling throughout the glaze is an intended characteristic of celadon pottery and should not be mistaken for damage.. The listing includes both vases and the accompanying Hai Kwang Ceramics paper shown. Any other decorative objects are not included.
