Bell Trading Company Nickle Silver / Turquoise Belt Buckle 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 This is a vintage Bell Trading Post nickel silver and faux turquoise belt buckle. The front features a large central oval turquoise cabochon framed by a rope border and ten smaller turquoise cabochons. The rectangular plate has a classic Fred Harvey era Southwestern look, complete with stamped fan and flower designs at each corner and stamped detailing along the borders. The stamp on the back reads Bell Nickel with their signature bell logo. Bell Trading Post was founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1932 and specialized in Southwestern tourist jewelry. Their Bell Nickel line used nickel silver alloy paired with faux turquoise stones. It is highly collectible vintage Western wear from the mid-20th century
