The Matinee pattern is characterized by its intricate starburst and fan-like deep cuts that catch the light beautifully, typical of high-quality Portuguese crystal craftsmanship. The piece has a substantial weight and a crisp ring when tapped. The underside is acid-etched with the Royal Crystal by Atlantis hallmark, confirming its authenticity.
