Vintage Fire-King Philbe Sapphire Blue Bowl

Classic, collectible, and beautifully functional, this vintage Fire-King Sapphire Blue Philbe mixing bowl is a stunning example of mid-century American glassware. The elegant Philbe pattern adds texture and vintage charm, while the heat resistant sapphire blue glass makes it perfect for both display and use.  The Philbe pattern was named after designer, Phil Bee, and features a delicate, embossed floral and scroll edge. It is famous for its translucent pale blue hue and heat resistant, oven proof durability.   This product line was one of the very first Fire-King lines introduced by Anchor Hocking in 1942. The Sapphire Blue Philbe line was only produced for a short window during World War II.   Excellent used condition with no visible chips or cracks. Bowl shows some overall age appropriate signs of wear/scratches. Measures approximately 8.25” W x 3.25” H.
