Vintage Japan Toy Soldier Salt Pepper Shakers Military Guards Pair Corks

Vintage salt and pepper shaker set made in Japan featuring two seated toy soldiers or guardsmen in colorful military uniforms. Each figure wears a traditional black shako hat with red plume, blue jacket, and carries a rifle. These mid-century Japanese ceramic shakers retain their original cork stoppers. A fun and whimsical example of post-war Japanese export ceramics. Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Original cork stoppers remain in place. One soldier has an imperfection area on the hat and there is minor paint loss and glaze wear consistent with age.
